Compression
Although compression is not required when using AppleShare protocol, we recommend compressing files with a utility such as Alladin's Stuffit Deluxe, to speed up the file transfer.
About FTP
When using FTP protocol, files should always be compressed to prevent them from becoming corrupted. Also, a utility such as Cute FTP® (Windows),
Bullet Proof FTP® (Windows), or Fetch (Mac) is suggested to upload files to the server. When using Microsoft Internet Explorer to access the server, copy and paste your files to start the upload process.
