From the Chooser, click AppleShare, and the "Server IP Address" button.
File Server IP Address: 12.155.97.13
Name: adfile
Password: transfer
Click: Connect
Select your folder(IL_UTSA) and click "OK"
Your folder is mounted on your desktop.
Open the folder and copy your files to the appropriate directory for the month that your ad will print.
*You will be automatically disconnected after 10 minutes of inactivity. You may reconnect by repeating the above procedure.

From the Finder and the "Go" menu select "Connect to Server"
In the "Address" field enter "xserver.mapl.net" or “12.155.97.13”
Click “Connect”
Window will appear with “Connect to File Server as:”
Select “Registered User”
Name: adfile
Password: transfer
Click “Connect”
Window will appear with “Select the volumes you wish to mount”
Highlight “IL_UTSA”
Click “OK”
The “IL_Magazine” volume will appear on your desktop.
Open the volume and copy your files to the appropriate directory for the month that your ad will print.

The following info will allow you to transfer files using any ftp client software. Some versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer will also allow you to transfer files using the copy/paste commands. Refer to the instructions provided with your client software for more information about connecting and transferring files.

Upload your files to the appropriate directory for the month that your ad will print.

IIndustrial Launderer is produced using an all digital computer-to-plate workflow. We ask that all advertisements be submitted as digital files. If you require additional information, regarding file submission, please contact Karen Mattox, our customer service representative for IL Magazine.

Guidelines for Submitting Digital Files
• Ads must be sized at 100%
• Full-page ads, with bleeds, should include 1/8" bleed on all sides.
• Color image resolution: 300 dpi
• Grayscale image resolution: 300 dpi
• Line art image resolution: 600 to 1200 dpi
• Do not save files using JPG or ZIP compression.
• Do not "up-sample" lower resolution images to 300 dpi. Degraded image quality will result.
• RGB colors must be converted to CMYK.
• Spot and Pantone colors must be converted to CMYK, except for 2-color ads that are specified to run black plus a PMS color.
• The use of truetype fonts is not suggested, because they do not always output correctly.
• Include both screen and printer versions of Type 1 fonts.
• All ads must include any linked or embedded graphics.
• If submitting PDF files, please see our PDF Support page for guidelines specific to the PDF format.
Submitting Print Ready PDF Files
PDF files should be created by printing your document to a postscript file, then distilling the postscript file using the supplied Acrobat Distiller settings below. Please do not use shortcuts or export features available in some programs. Please confirm that your application files meet the "Guidelines" posted on this site, prior to generating your postscript file.

IMPORTANT !
After the transfer is complete, please email Karen Mattox "kmattox@mapl.net" informing her that the files are present. Also copy the email to Mittie Spruill "spruill@utsa.com", Advertising Coordinator for Industrial Launder Magazine, so that they will be aware that the file was sent directly to us. Include contact information, the name of the company that the advertisement is for, and the name of the file that you transferred in this email.
Files must be compressed before transferring to avoid corruption!
